Homeopath, acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner

Dr Graham Yutar is a registered Homeopath and Acupuncturist. He completed his M. Tech (Hom) at the University of Johannesburg (previously Wits Technikon) in 2002 and is registered with the Allied Health Professional Council and Homoeopathic Association of South Africa.

Dr Yutar’s masters dissertation was conducted on the effectiveness of a homeopathic medicine for the treatment of smoking cessation. This has helped him in the formulation of a smoking cessation programme using acupuncture, homeopathy and Chinese herbal medicine.

Since the start of his practice, herbal medicines, acupuncture and nutritional counseling have formed a substantial component of his consultations and in his drive for attaining optimum health for his patients. He also uses the BEMER 3000 to assist in the treatment  of his patients.

Dr Yutar is passionate about his profession and the work he does. As well as treating his patients, he has been a patient of homeopathy since the age of 10 – adding to his deep understanding of the day to day applications and successful prescribing of homeopathic medicines.

In 2010, Dr Yutar completed a natural fertility course with Dr Colin Le Grange, he is one of South Africa’s leaders in the field of natural fertility. Dr Yutar assists couples with a natural fertility programme and for the last few years he has been working closely with one of SA’s leading fertility specialists. Dr Yutar assists patients during their IVF programmes by doing acupuncture for them throughout that time.

In 2015, Dr Yutar completed a course with Dr Andy Rosenfarb and Marc Grossman, this was for the treatment of eye disorders using acupuncture, Chinese medicine and nutrition. Both Dr Rosenfarb and Grossman are renowned for their successful treatment of stubborn eye conditions.

Dr Yutar has his family practice in Morningside. He also worked for around 7 years at the University of Johannesburg Homeopathy Clinic as a clinician where he supervised the masters’ students with their patients.
